Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, turned to symbolic personalised necklaces whilst celebrating her 40th birthday! For her 40th birthday, Meghan Markle wore zodiac necklaces that represented her children.
On Aug. 4, Markle announced her new 40x40 initiative for her and Prince Harry's non profit organisation Archewell. She released a light-hearted clip showing her in conversation with actor Melissa McCarthy in which the duchess could be seen sitting in her office at her home in Montecito, California.
Naturally, Meghan looked chic for the appearance - her first public appearance since the arrival of her daughter Lilibet in June - wearing a tonal outfit of cream vest, cosy jumper thrown over her shoulders and cropped trousers, with suede Manolo Blahnik bb pumps - a favourite shoe style of hers. But there was one item in particular that she was wearing that caught our attention; a pair of sparkling diamond necklaces.
The two pieces, by an LA based designer had a special significance. Both featured diamonds in the pattern of constellations, one representing Gemini - Lilibet's birth sign - and a second representing Taurus, which is Archie's star sign.
Trendyz Jewellery offer a very affordable version of this style with shimmering crystals. This dainty Zodiac Constellations Necklace would be your best bet if you are on a budget. The trendy constellation necklaces let you hold the ones you love close to your Heart, and whether you want to buy one for yourself or gift it to a friend, the symbolism will be cherished.
Markle's jewellery choices always contain a deeper meaning, as she likes to commemorate people and special occasions in her life. When she and Prince Harry started dating, Meghan used a necklace to hint at their relationship to the wider world. Walking down the street in Toronto, Meghan wore a piece featuring the letters "M" and "H," confirming their romance.
Then again, during her interview with Oprah, Markle wore Princess Diana's tennis bracelet, perhaps to channel the late royal's strength and energy. Prince Harry reportedly took two diamonds from that same bracelet to serve as the side stones in Markle's engagement ring.
